As of March 14, Ms. Sara Kyles has joined LEAD as our inaugural LEAD Pittsburgh Fellow. Ms. Kyles is a recent graduate of Point Park University, where she earned her Master of Arts in Clinical-Community Psychology.
Ms. Kyles has substantial experience working with children and adolescents in therapeutic settings. Her experience includes working at Gwen’s Girls, where she was a youth counselor who helped girls to become self sufficient adults, and at the Bright Horizons program as an early education teacher, where she worked with children to build communication and collaboration skills. Ms, Kyles also volunteered at the Indiana PA Alice Paul House where she gained experience in crisis intervention procedures. She most recently completed an internship as a Family Therapist at the Three Rivers Adoption Council.
The Fellowship will provide an opportunity for Ms. Kyles to become involved in the growth of LEAD Pittsburgh. This position will allow her to plan, develop, and implement projects for LEAD; to attend and contribute to LEAD Board Meetings; and to contribute original content to LEAD’s website.
We are thrilled to welcome Ms. Kyles as our first LEAD Fellow, and look forward to the fresh voice and new perspective she will provide to our endeavors.
