K. Sean McGreevey, Ph.D.
Over 15 years of dedicated service in Higher Education, Dr. Sean McGreevey, has focused his efforts on educationally purposeful programs that enhance student engagement. He currently serves at Bellarmine University as Dean of Students.
Previously, he worked at Chatham University, where his responsibilities included advancing the student and alumni experience as they develop professionally and proceed through the career exploration process. Additional responsibilities included the first year experience, retention, and assessment. He taught 18 sections of the first year experience and led the overall implementation of the program for the entire campus at Chatham University.
He has instructed FYE courses on three campuses and served on formative teams designing curriculum and delivering FYE initiatives at Chatham University, Young Harris College and The University of South Carolina. McGreevey formerly served as Director of Residence Life at Young Harris College (Georgia) and as Assistant Director for Resident Student Learning at The University of South Carolina. He earned a Ph.D. in Higher Education Administration from The University of South Carolina and a Masters Degree in College Student Personnel at Bowling Green State University in Ohio.
